The Schizophrenia Bulletin

The Schizophrenia Bulletin is prepared by the Office of Communications and Public Liaison, National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), National Institutes of Health. The Bulletin's purpose is to facilitate the dissemination and exchange of information about schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia Research

Rapid publication of new international research that contributes to the understanding of schizophrenic disorders. It is hoped that this journal will aid in bringing together previously separated biological, clinical and psychological research on this disorder, and stimulate the synthesis of these data into cohesive hypotheses

Some scientists are studying whether giving anti-psychotic drugs to teenagers deemed at risk for developing schizophrenia could actually prevent the disease--a controversial approach because it's so tough to determine who's at risk.
